MOUNTAINS WELCOMES ROCK LEGEND

Dave Dwyer is a man of extraordinary experience. He is the ex-guitarist of 1927 and has played with other Aussie legends such as Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, John Farnham and The Angels. He's also played with international artists such as members from Deep Purple, The Eagles, Stray Cats and actually moved to Los Angeles for three months to work with Doobie Brothers guitarist Jeff Baxter on one of Dave's solo projects. Through Dave's successful career he's also made several TV appearances on Countdown, MTV, the Midday Show, Tonite Live, Star Search, and Hey Hey it's Saturday.
Dave's played in about forty bands, toured the world, played nearly 15,000 shows, has gained a huge respect within the music industry and is still involved in session work, doing gigs, and even teaches guitar. The best part is that Dave has settled into our very own Glenbrook to further his business in supporting the thriving western Sydney music scene.

Dave has established his own company known as Gangstar, which comprises of Gangstar Studios and Gangstar Records. Dave has a fully equipped, state of the art, high tech digital studio with which he sees as his tool for helping local bands get good recordings out there to get publicity. Dave has also been building up Gangstar Records by working with such clients as Jimmy Barnes, 78 Saab, the Nevilles and even the 1999 and 2000 Footy Show theme. Dave is going through the process now where he is actually looking for young talent that Gangstar can take on board to sign to his label. With the experience that Dave has already had in his lifetime he has the knowledge to pass on to any bands the 'ins and outs' of the music industry in order to help them get where they want to be.

Dave's studio is for hire and he gives awesome deals. For more information on Gangstar and their services… call Dave on 4739-0451 or e-mail him at ddwyer@bigpond.com.
